Hi,
Geneva was absolutely lovely. The rooms prices are very expensive, I would recommend booking them as early as possible. I spent two days and nights there and had to change my room for the nights. At first, the day seemed very cloudy which allowed me to take nearly black and white photos of the lakeside in completely peace and quiet. Luckily, the weather cheered up and the streets filled slowly. The photos were like from other worlds between the morning and the afternoon. I strolled around the hills on the expensive side and tried to find enough clear sky and a good viewpoint to image the lake and the Alps. There is some lovely, very impressive architecture and food prices sky high.

I went out for a very early dinner and then spent some time admiring the ships in the harbour. This way, by accident, I was able to find a long wave breaker from which I adored the sun slowly making its way behind the horizon. It was still a winter time so it took the sun nearly two hours which gave me plenty of time to see all the colours of the spectrum and drift into my happy thoughts. The view of the lake is fantastic and the main fountain was switched off in order for the sun scouts to remain dry.

There are dozens of swans and other birds on the lake, enjoying the evening as we were.

All in all, I have a very positive view of Geneva and would like to go there again soon!
